Driving License Category A1
Driving License Category A1 allows you to drive motorized two-wheeled vehicles. Specifically, it allows you to drive mopeds and small motorcycles with engine power of no more than 11 kW.

Prerequisites
You must be at minimum 16 years old in order to obtain a driving licence category A1. This license allows you to drive a light motorcycle, while categories A2 and A are reserved for larger motor vehicles. All driving schools follow the same curriculum, even if their prices might differ.
The practical training comprises a number of driving lessons. These lessons are between three and four hours each. Training

The Driving License Category A1 exam is a two-part test which includes a theory portion and a practical part. The test is designed to give you a basic understanding and knowledge of the highway code. Practical test
The practical test portion of the Driving License Category A1 exam consists of two parts. The first is the examiner checking and getting your motorcycle ready to drive.
